Outline of functionality

V-Biomech is a finite element software and is devoted to the numerical simulation of the biomechanical behavior of the soft tissues and of the musculo-skeletal systems.

Features

The mechanical modeling comprises the incompressibility of soft-tissues, the implementation of very general isotropic and anisotropic hyperelastic laws, like the Mooney-Rivlin, Ogden and Holzapfel models, a phenomenological description of the muscle activation (Hill°«s model), as well as the description of the short- and long-term viscous time effects phenomena.
