Research Subjects and Results

In general my research activities cover Monte Carlo method and continuum assumption based Navier-Stokes solver. The details are as follows:
(1) Develop a hybrid scheme to combine the two methods.
(2) Apply the two methods to model the fluid flow in MEMS/NEMS as well as the ESD process.
(3) Thermal hydraulics analysis of nuclear reactors using Navier-Stokes solver.
(4) Use Monte Carlo method to simulate the radioactive ray.
(5) Use VCAD system as preprocessor for the two methods.Up to now, I have published 17 journal papers and 23 conference papers, and one patent application has been submitted.

Future Target

I will continue the above reseach activities, especially in the fields of neutron radiography system, MEMS/NEMS and ESD process simulation for fabrication of next-generation organic thin-film photovoltaic cell.
