Development of segmentation method of specific region from voxel data
 |
Research Information |
I participate in the development of automatic extraction methods of deriving desired data from specific regions of voxel data obtained via such methods as MRI or CT scans. Biological samples especially are often indeterminate in shape and scan data may contain various types of noise, an extraction method is required a highly robust solution. Our work involves the development of an algorithm able to analyze data in parallel and at high speed, in order to deal with large amounts of voxel data four-dimensionally, including the time scale. This system will be integrated into the V-Cat program of the VCAD system and provided with a user-friendly interface.
