研究テーマ

研究内容と成果

細胞内に存在する力学構造システムのダイナミクスにおける力学因子と生化学因子の相互作用にから生み出される動的なシステム構築と機能発現の過程を取り上げ、タンパク質要素レベルにおける機能発現と細胞内連続体力学場へのスケールアップ、連続体力学シミュレーションにより得られる細胞内構造の局在や動的な時間・空間機能発現について研究を行った。細胞レベルのスケールにおける物質やエネルギの連続場としての視点のみならず、離散的な構造として粗視化される細胞膜、細胞骨格、細胞接着に対しても力学的なアプローチにより研究を進めた。これらに対して、連続体力学、統計力学を基礎とした細胞内システムの構造と機能に関する数理モデリング、および、連続・離散系の力学的記述に基づく計算力学シミュレーション研究を行った。

今後の展望

生体の持つ「力学環境への適応性」と「構造・機能の階層性」に着目し,組織・細胞の機能的適応・再生のメカニズムの解明を目指し,実験と数理モデリング・シミュレーションを統合的に組み合わせたバイオメカニクス研究を進める.
